George Herbert Walker Bush

41st President of the United States


January 20, 1989 to January 20, 1993

World War II veteran of the US Navy serving  as a Torpedo Bomber  pilot from 1942 through 1945 earning a Distinguished Flying Cross and three Air Medals.

In 1980, President Ronald Reagan selected Mr. Bush to be his running mate for Vice President, and served in the capacity for two terms.

In 1988 Mr. Bush became his Party's nominee and the American peoples choice to be the 41st President of the United States.  President Bush was the Commander In Chief during Operation Just Cause (Panama), Desert Shield/Storm (Kuwait, Iraq).
