        Sometime in 1945 MAJ Jackson received command from MAJ John S. Levis. He passed command the same year to LTC Philip C. Lawton.
*Obtaining the exact dates of command for several Battalion Commanders from this era have been unsuccessful. This was a time of high-tempo operations in the Philippines, and Japanese mainland resulting in much movement, and Battalion historical record keeping simply lost its precision.
