LTC Phillips received command from LTC Mary C. Frels in June 1998. During his command Battalion elements were deployed no Operation Joint Forge (SFOR), Bosnia-Herzegovina, Operation Road Runner 2000 and Forward Looking Infrared RADAR (FLIR) Test for the reenactment of the 19 April 1993 FBI raid at Waco, Texas. |
In June 2000 he passed command to LTC Roderick G. Demps. LTC Phillips attended the War College followed by a tour as the Director of Security for the Army Staff at the Pentagon during and following the attack on 911. He then assumed command of the 89th MP Brigade and deployed the brigade to Iraq. He currently holds the rank of Brigadier General. |
