Escorts

(Webster's Dictionary) One or more persons (or cars, , ships, vehicles, airplanes, etc.) accompanying another or others to give protection or show honor.

The MP Escort assignments are as varied as the Patrol Assignments. However, unlike the Patrols, operational names were usually assigned to any regularly scheduled escort mission.

All had the same mission goal regardless of the number of escort vehicle assigned, that was to get the people or vehicles they accompanied to their intended location safely.
