Acronym for United States Army Republic Of Vietnam, the headquarters of U.S. military operations in South Vietnam.

     USARV headquarters was originally situated the Capital Special District in Gia Dinh Province, III Corps Tactical Zone, Saigon.

     In early 1967 the headquarters was physically moved during Operation MOOSE (Move Out Of Saigon Expeditiously) to the Long Binh Post military base 22 miles north of Saigon in  Bien Hoa Province, III Corps Tactical Zone.
