USARV

Acronym for United States Army Republic Of South Vietnam, the headquarters of U.S. military operations in South Vietnam.

USARV headquarters was originally situated in the South Vietnamese capital of Saigon. In early 1967 they were physically moved to the Long Binh Post military base north of Saigon.
