720TH MILITARY POLICE BATTALION for exceptionally meritorious conduct in performance of outstanding service:
The 720th Military Police Battalion distinguished itself by outstanding meritorious performance during the period of 13 October 1990 to 13 April 1991, in support of Operation Desert Shield/Storm [1st Iraq War]. The 720th Military Police Battalion's outstanding professionalism and demonstrated excellence in the execution of complex operations contributed immensely to the highly successful conclusion of Operation Desert Storm. The superior performance of the 720th Military Police Battalion is in keeping with the highest traditions of military service and reflects great credit on them, the Military Police Corps, and the United States Army.
