Photo A0301:The brainchild of a former kamikaze pilot, this midget auto gets its power from a 30-volt battery. At speeds between 25 and 30 miles per hour, it can travel for six hours before needing recharging. It was priced at about $2,400. The toy-like car gets a Go signal from PVT Jackson Neeley of Hampton, Virginia a member of the 720th MP Battalion as it passes his traffic control box at the main intersection on Ginza Street in Tokyo, Japan on 21 December 1947.
