Photo B0103:  The troops assigned to the civil rights riot suppression and security duty at the State University in Oxford, Mississippi during the Christmas and New Years holiday season were billeted in small tent cities at the National Guard Armory and Municipal Airport. With the city off limits to all troops except those on official business, the troops had to entertain themselves. Two unidentified members of Alpha Company 720th MP Battalion, 4th Army, III Corps entertained themselves, one eating a hot meal while the other attended religious services on 22 December 1962.
