July The 146th MP Platoon arrived in Hue-Phu Bai from Fort George Meade, Maryland, under the command of LT Charles Stebbins. At Phu Bai they conducted main gate, bunker security, discipline, law and order patrol and POW escorts for the Marines.

        The 146th was attached to Company A, 504th MP Battalion, 16th MP Group, 18th MP Brigade in II Corps Tactical Zone in the Central Highlands.

        146th MP Platoon also worked joint patrols in conjunction with the 504th MP Battalion and the 23rd MP Company of the 23rd Infantry - Americal Division.
