Long Thanh was located in Bien Hoa Provence, Long Than District, several miles south of the Bear Cat Base Camp on Highway QL-15. It was home to several Air Force, Army Helicopter, and Army Transportation units. It is believed that the Detachment performed perimeter security duties at the airfield. |
