From 1967 through 1972 many of the units mentioned in this website were at one time subordinate to the 720th MP Battalion and had elements assigned to military police and security duties at My Tho, separately or jointly.

As a result, the My Tho Detachment histories of the 188th MP Company, 148th MP Platoon, 22nd Provost Marshal Office, and B Company, 720th MP Battalion, have been combined in this detachment section.
