~ 720th Military Police Battalion Vietnam History Project ~

Photo G0227: SP/4 Richard Peterson of HQ Detachment, 720th MP Battalion, 89th MP Group, 18th MP Brigade (kneeling) teaching English to the school children in their An Hoa Hung Village school accompanied a Battalion interpreter, Mai Quang Bau. The classes were part of the Civic Action Program in the Battalion Tactical Area Of Responsibility in Bien Hoa Provence, Military Region III, Vietnam in 1969. SP/4 Peterson taught the children in four schools encompassing the villages of An Hoa Hung, Long Binh Tan, Long Hung and An Xuan. Courtesy of The MP Journal Magazine, July 1969.
