Photo G0267: Prison wall. In 1995 when this photograph was taken this prison was still being used to house civil and political prisoners of the communist government in Vietnam. It was located on the former Long Binh Post now an industrial park. Constructed shortly after the war on the site of and using the remains of the former USARV Stockade then known as Long Binh Jail (LBJ) in Bien Hoa Province, III Corps Tactical Zone. It has since been demolished. Risking arrest because the facility was a military security area, former PFC James R. Brunotte of BRAVO Company (1968) took the photograph covertly while under the close scrutiny of a government monitor accompanying his religious group.
