050411: My name is SP/4 Steven J. Archer. I worked as an MP (615th MP Company) out of the Thu Duc Detachment in 1970 with SGT Thanh. He was also a family man, hairdresser in Saigon and a wonderful artist. He was one of the few that you knew “had your back”. He saved myself, Pentelino (SP/4 Onofrio Pentolino?) and two others when we were ambushed one night. Pentelino was shot in the foot. I think of him often and hope he is well.
