The crew members assigned to the vehicle were SGT Carl W. Singleton, and SP/4's Mark E. Kurland and David G. Peterson. The name ABRAXAS was later painted on the vehicle by PFC Charlie Hunt. ABRAXAS was the name of the second album of the popular Hall of Fame Latino rock n'roll group named "Santana."
