Photo G1808b: Overflight-2006, What was formerly the 720th MP Battalion, Tactical Area of Responsibility (TAOR), landmark area known as Hill-15 on the Buong River from 1967 through 1970. During the war years the area had no structures, was not farmed and was a free fire zone day and night. Al three hills were fully wooded until B Company cleared the top and sides of Hill-15 for an outpost during the summer of 1969. The Little Hill-38 and Big Hill-38 area was outside the TAOR and known as a safe haven for enemy troops.
