Holland (Rhode Island) and his K9, members of the 212th MP Company (Sentry Dog) Scout Dog Unit, 720th MP Battalion, 89th MP Group, 18th MP Brigade, being transported by truck to the battalion Tactical Area Of Responsibility in Bien Hoa Province, Military Region III for an ambush & recon mission with B Company, 720th MP Battalion in Vietnam in 1969. SP/4 Holland partnered with two K9’s during his tour, one was named “Arko,” the others name is unknown.
