Photo G2280: 1LT Charles Smith Executive Officer of C Company, 720th MP Battalion, 89th MP Group, 18th MP Brigade, Vietnam 1971. 1LT Smith was assigned as Area Provost Marshal (APM) at the Lai Khe Detachment and later assigned as Executive Officer at the company headquarters in Long Binh under CPT Cox.  He worked up convoys and scheduled overflights for the company for each week and then spent the week either flying convoy overflights or traveling with SP4 Christman, his driver, between the detachments at Cu Chi, Tay Ninh, Lai Khe and Xuan Loc.  He was also acting as the APM for all detachments during that time.  Courtesy of 1LT Charles Smith, C Company, 720th MP Battalion, 89th MP Group, 18th MP Brigade, 1970-1971.
