Photo G2331: Remains of an Army 1/4 ton truck (Jeep) that ran into the rear of a V100 Armored Commando Car on Highway-1A (316) near the Thu Duc intersection, Gia Dinh Province of III Corps Tactical Zone, Vietnam in 1967. This photo was taken at a Transportation Support unit near the intersection. The single driver, an NCO, may have been intoxicated, was seriously injured in the crash. The V100 crew were not injured. Bumper marking on the jeep were: SSC (Saigon Support Command, 1st LOG ?) The only mention in the Battalion S3 Daily Logs for a vehicle crash in Thu Duc was at 0530 Hours, 28 November 1967, details not listed.
