Photo G2331:Remains of an Army 1/4 ton truck (Jeep) that ran into the rear of a V100 Commando Armored Car on Highway 1A (Newport to Saigon) near the Thu Duc intersection in 1967. This photo taken at a Transportation Support unit near the intersection. The single driver, an NCO, may have been intoxicated, was seriously injured in the crash. The V100 crew were not injured. Bumper marking on the jeep were SSC (Saigon Support Command, 1st LOG ?) The only mention in the Battalion Daily Logs for a vehicle crash in Thu Duc was at 0530 Hours, 28 November 1967, details not listed.
