Photo G2465: South Vietnamese Marines accompanied by U.S. MACV Advisors move ashore during 'Operation DECKHOUSE-V' conducted in the Communist sanctuary of Thanh Phu Island, Go Cong Province along the South China Sea in IV Corps Tactical Zone, Mekong Delta Region of South Vietnam in January 1967. A platoon from A Company, 720th MP Battalion, 89th MP Group, 18th MP Brigade from Long Binh Post, III Corps Tactical Zone, Bien Hoa Province supported the operation with enemy POW security and transport from Vung Tau to the ARVN Ho Nai POW facility near Bien Hoa City.
