Photo G2507: A shipment of recovered C-Rations stolen during an Operation OVERTAKE transport from the Newport Docks and recovered from a building on Highway 1A (#316), near the water plant (background right) north of the Thu Duc intersection in Gia Dinh Province of III Corps Tactical Zone, Vietnam, sometime in May-June of 1968. MPs from A Company, 720th MP Battalion, 89th MP Group, 18th MP Brigade were involved in the recovery and provided security while the cargo was reloaded onto the stolen contractors truck.
