Photo G2510: A member of the A Company, 720th MP Battalion patrol watches as a Vietnamese contractor replaces the fuel stolen from the US Navy truck that was stolen by its Vietnamese contract driver on Highway #317, sometime in May-June of 1968. An A Company, 720th MP Battalion Highway Security Patrol jeep gave chase and lost sight of it when it turned off the highway. They again located it abandoned about 15 minutes later, and by then half the load of cases of beer was missing. It was recovered off of Highway #317 which borders the southern perimeter of Long Binh Post, north of the Dong Nai River, Vietnam. Courtesy of SGT Philip J.
