Photo G2633: C Company, 720th MP Battalion, 89th MP Group, 18th MP Brigade gun jeep C35 parked at the company cantonment on Long Binh Post in Bien Hoa Province, Military Region III, Vietnam in 1970. Used for convoy escort duties it had both an M60 (left front) and a Browning 50 caliber Machine-gun mounted on the pedestal in the back. The 50 cal. was found to cause instability in vehicle control when firing left or right while in motion, and was later replaced by the standard M60 Machine-gun. “The Ugly Duck” and “LIL Surfer” both C Company V100 Armored Commando Cars are parked behind it.
