Photo G3493:   The ammunition barge attacked and sunk on a sand bar in the Dong Nai River in Bien Hoa Province, III Corps Tactical Zone, Vietnam on 4 December 1967. Members of the C Company, 720th MP Battalion River Patrol examine the barge after transporting squads of a combined B Company and 615th MP Company ambush team to the Old French Fort on the east side of the river to provide shoreline security until the Navy could respond.
