Photo G3626_1: Members of the 720th MP Battalion, 89th MP Group, 18th MP Brigade along with local village Popular Forces and the 301st National Police Field Forces, form up share C-Rations while they await further orders during a cordon and search operation of An Xuan and Long Hung Villages in the Battalion’s 22 square mile Tactical Area of Responsibility (TAOR) south of Long Binh Post in Bien Hoa Province of III Corps Tactical Zone, Vietnam on 27 April 1968. The area shown is part of the detainment area for An Xuan Village. The canvas field tent to the right, is being used by members of the U.S. Army 702nd and ARVN 15th Intelligence Detachments to examine the villagers identification documents and conduct any needed interrogations.
