Photo G3667e: Two members SP/4 Charlie Stephens (left) and PFC James Spinks of the reflagged 88th MP Company (K9) Detachment, 212th MP Company (Sentry Dog) in front of the California Club in downtown Pleiku in Pleiku Province of II Corps Tactical Zone of the Central Highlands, South Vietnam. It was the favorite hangout of the Detachment members in early 1966. The framed fencing covering the front doors, windows and balconies of the clubs and bars was constructed to deter the throwing of hand grenades through the windows.
