Overview From 1966 through 1972 The Provost Marshal Office Command Staff was under the direction of the 179th Military Police Detachment, 95th MP Battalion, 89th MP Group, 18th MP Brigade, United States Army Republic of Vietnam. The line duty Military Police staff were provided throughout the period by MPs of the various companies of the 95th MP Battalion and 720th MP Battalion.
From 1967 through 1972 the building was also used by the various MP Companies assigned duties under Operation OVERTAKE.
