SP/4 Buckner started his military career in the
infantry before requesting a change to a military police MOS when
he reenlisted.
He went to MP School at Forth Gordon and was
sent to Vietnam.
His first assignment was at Outpost #1 in An
Xuan Village for a couple of months.
In June 1968 Jack was reassigned as the first
MP Liaison Staff member at the National Police Station in An Hoa
Hung Village where he stayed until the end of his tour. |
