SP/4 Carson worked with SGT Billy Ball's squad for his entire tour. He worked numerous assignments, Tay Ninh Convoy, Battalion Reaction Force, Di An to Quan Loi Convoy, POW Hospital Guard, TDY to the 716th in Saigon during Tet, Bien Hoa Detachment to assist the 101st MP Company, Xuan Loc Convoy, Operation Overtake day and night, and Ambush & Recon. |

At the end of his tour he was assigned to Fort Benning, Georgia where he worked as am MP Traffic Accident Investigator. Bruce was honorably discharged in April of 1970. He then went to work for a bank for several years, operated a sporting good store until 2000 then closed it and went to work for a Ford dealership.
