212th MP Company, 720th MP Battalion
148th MP Platoon, 92nd MP Battalion
May 1967 to 1968
     SP/4 Gilmartin was trained as a K9 handler and assigned to the 212th MP Company in May 1967. In December 1967 he was transferred to the 148th MP Platoon and worked at the Vinh Long Detachment. He earned a Bronze Star for Valor on 2 February 1968 during the Tet Offensive.

     Jim passed from our ranks on 7 December 1989.
