Photo The Finger Of Land: Over-flight 2006 The Finger of Land was situated just south of the southern border of Long Binh Post in the 720th MP Battalion Tactical Area Of Responsibility. It was the area that the Viet Cong Battalion used to attack the post on 22-23 February 1969. Highway 317 ran along the southern side of the post and changed to Highway-15 when it intersected with Gate-11. There were no buildings and no rice fields. The entire area was a free fire zone in the day and night. It's now an industrial park.
