5 February the 188th MP Company, assigned duties in IV Corps, was reassigned to the 720th MP Battalion when the 92nd MP Battalion was deactivated.

September the 188th and B Company exchanged flags, the 188th (B Company) went to DaNang with the 504th MP Battalion, B Company (formerly 188th stayed in IV Corps.

5 February the 22nd PMO (a paper organization), assigned duties in IV Corps, was reassigned to the 720th MP Battalion when the 92nd MP Battalion was deactivated. It was assimilated into the Battalion.
