Christmas Eve & Day 1967
In the Village of Long Binh Tan with the orphans
          Several days before Christmas 1967, the Village Chief and Catholic Priest of Long Binh Tan visited CPT Lenhart, Commanding Officer of A Company, 720th MP Battalion, and requested his assistance in providing security for the celebration of mass at the village church on Christmas Eve night.

"A Christmas To Be Remembered" CPT Michael E. Lenhart (COL Ret.), Commanding Officer A Company, 720th MP Battalion, 89th MP Group, 18th MP Brigade, September 1967 to September 1968.

From there CPT Lenhart and members of A Company put together the security plan and expanded their involvement to also include a Santa, presents for the children at the orphanage and ice cream for all who attended on Christmas Day.
