Date unknown, Baghdad, Iraq The 410th Military Police Company qualified the first female Armored Security Vehicle Common Remotely Operated Weapons Station (ASV/CROWS) gunner in the Iraqi theater. 9 June The Battalion change of command ceremony was held at the 89th MP Brigade gymnasium Fort Hood, Texas. LTC David J. Poirier, passed the Battalion colors to LTC Robert M. Taradash as CSM William Generali looked on. 28 June, The Coalition Provisional Authority (CPA) The CPA established as a transitional government following the invasion of Iraq by the United States and the other members of the multinational coalition which was formed to oust the government of Saddam Hussein on 21 April 2003, dissolved its authority. |
