1966 For Hood Post Patrol

Semi-dress Uniform (White Cap Duty) Winter or light weight Army Green jacket and pants, tan shirt with black tie, black socks, black leather boots or low cut shoes. Standard dress hat in Army Green color with a black brim and white cover or special issue white cap for MP's. The brassard, which now extended to the top of the arm was black wool with MP in white with the unit patch above it. The holster was worn on a black leather belt with sam brown strap. A brass whistle was worn on the shirt. Field Uniform Summer/Tropical Khaki 8.2 ounce cotton twill shirt (long sleeved) and pants. Black tie was optional depending on command. black leather boots or low cut dress shoes. The dress cap with white cover was the standard head cover. The brassard black wool with MP in white with the unit patch above it. The holster was black leather worn on a black leather Sam Brown rig. A brass whistle was worn on the shirt.
