The first "Easy Rider," bumper marker unknown C??, was named in 1970 and used for convoy escort out of Long Binh Post by C Company. The name was from a 1969 American counter culture road movie written by Peter Fonda, Dennis Hopper and Terry Southern. |

Sometime after 1970 it was renamed "The Easy Rider" and the gun shield art was expanded with a cartoon character of an MP holding an American Flag. The bumper marking was C101. |
