V100 Budweiser V

          When I was with B Company, 720th MP Battalion, we ran several types of V100 patrols. They were escorts to Vung Tau, for R & R, VIP escorts for dignitaries, and believe it or not, DETOX escorts from the USARV Long Binh Stockade to Saigon ( guess they thought the drug users would go AWOL). This is not to include our normal escorts out of the Mekong Delta, IV Corps Tactical Zone.

They, the V's were also used at checkpoints, ASP's (Ammunition Supply Points) and for beer runs.

I had the "passed down" BUDWEISER V with the 472 Caddie engine, it was very fast. If you know who had it before me I would like to know.
