        SSG Gregory W. G. McCoy, age 26, of Webberville, Michigan, and SGT Courtland A. Kennard age 22, of Starkville, Mississippi, were killed when an improvised explosive devise (IED) exploded near their patrol vehicle in Baghdad, Iraq on 9 November 2006.
