Photo M00049: Iraqi Chief of Police Mazehr Tah Ahmed of Salah Al-Dein Province,questions a man who was arrested during a raid 23 August 2003, targeting a gang of bandits responsible for carjacking's and robberies along the road from Tikrit to Kirkuk. The suspect had been wanted by the police for more than 10 years, but had not been arrested because of his close association with Saddam Hussein. The police were supported by elements of the 720th Military Police Battalion, 89th MP Brigade, Task Force Iron Horse, 4th Infantry Division (Mechanized), during Operation Iraqi Freedom I.
