     Department of the Army General Order No. 32, 23 April 1968, Section IV, Meritorious Unit Commendation, Paragraph 3, Page 6 identifies the 483rd MP Platoon as the 483rd MP Company. In DA GO No. 8, 19 March 1974, Section II, Meritorious Unit Commandation, Paragraph 2, it correctes the error on Page 3.
