This photo of Le was taken when he was in school before the start of the war. It was the most current one available.
He was a platoon leader of the local Viet Cong forces from the An Hoa Hung and Long Hung Village area.
He was finally caught 25 November 1968 by members of the B Company River Patrol and 15th ARVN Military Intelligence at checkpoint on the Dong Nai River during a sampan search.
Le presented the MP's an altered identification card and was brought in as a suspected draft dodger.
The ARVN's later identified him as a VC and it's unknown what happened to him from then.
