~ 720th Military Police Battalion Vietnam History Project ~
Photo G0266: In 1995 when this photograph was taken this prison was still being used to house civil and political prisoners of Vietnam's Communist government. It was located on the former Long Binh Post now an industrial park. Constructed shortly after the war on the site of and using the remains of the former USARV Stockade know as Long Binh Jail (LBJ). It has since been demolished. Risking arrest because the facility was a military security area, PFC (Ret.) James R. Brunotte of Bravo Company, 720th MP Battalion took the photograph covertly while under the close scrutiny of a government monitor accompanying his religious group.
