Nui Dat situated just off Highway LTL-2, via Highway QL-13, south east of Bearcat, south of Xuan Loc and north east of Vung Tau in III Corps Tactical Zone, was a firebase for the Royal Australian Forces from June of 1966 through November 1971 when it was turned over to the Army Of The Republic Of South Vietnam (ARVN).

February-April During the months of February, March and April the Nui Dat Convoy had no regular schedule and was being run on an as needed basis. Beyond this entree in the Operations Report Lessons Learned for the quarter there are no official details on the convoy escort mission. |
