August-October The 720th MP Battalion, having the responsibility for the major portion of Corps Tactical Zone III and all of Corps Tactical Zone IV established the Selective Enforcement Traffic Control Teams (SETT). The teams utilize radar, mirror boxes, aircraft and CMMI (Command Maintenance Management Inspection). The CMMI look at vehicles and the log books to see if they are being maintained properly to effectively enforce the law and stop mechanically deficient and unsafe U.S. vehicles along the major and heavily used roadways. 18 March The Selective Enforcement Traffic Control Teams teams were augmented with twelve personnel and its activities expanded to include drug suppression throughout Corps Tactical Zones III & IV. |
