LTC Henry served as Battalion Commander from 1 August 1969 to 30 January 1970. During his tour as commander the Battalion participated in: Termination of the four MP Outpost missions in the Tactical Area Of Responsibility; Termination of the Xuan Loc Detachment under the Vietnamization Program; Addition of the Phu Loi and Quan Loi Detachments to supplement MP presence lost due to the Vietnamization Programs reduction of the 1st Infantry Division and 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment activities; |
Operation Holly (1969) security for the Bob Hope USO Tour. On 30 January 1970 LTC Henry passed command to LTC Robert E. Stromfors.
