Nui Dat situated just off Highway LTL2, via Highway QL-13, south east of Bear Cat, south of Xuan Loc and north east of Vung Tau in III Corps Tactical Zone was a firebase for the Royal Australian Forces from June of 1966 through November 1972 when it was turned over to the Army Of The Republic Of Vietnam (ARVN).
1971
February-April During the months of February, March and April the Nui Dat Convoy had no regular schedule and was being run on an as needed basis.

Beyond this entree in the Operations Report Lessons Learned for the quarter there are no official details on the convoy escort mission.
