The Rock Quarry Checkpoint was located on the west side of Highway #316 (1-A) midway between Long Binh Post and Thu Duc in III Corps Tactical Zone. |
1967 The checkpoint was staffed by two U.S. Military Policemen and members of the local Canh Sat (Vietnamese National Police) Detachment. They checked Vietnamese civilian workers who came and went and both civilian and military vehicles. Their primary function was to provide security interdict weapons, undocumented civilians. |
