95th

        In 1971 the 615th was primarily responsible for Discipline, Law and Order Patrols, staffing the Provost Marshal Office (179th MP Detachment) and Gate Security on Long Binh Post.

5 August SGT Frank H. Bunyan was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for meritorious service.

5 December SP/4 Roger Lee Christensen, age 20, of Macon, MO, died from injuries received as the result of a vehicle crash on Highway 1A, along the northern border of Long Binh Post in Bien Hoa Province.
21 December The 89th MP Group was deactivated in-country. Military Police operations in III & IV Corps Tactical Zone, now referred to as Military Regions, were directed by the 18th MP Brigade.

25 December Members of the company provided security for the Bob Hope USO Tour Christmas Show.
