The South Vietnamese Tomb of the Unknown Soldier was located on the west side of Highway #316 midway between Long Binh Post and Thu Duc in III Corps Tactical Zone. |

The tomb was located within the South Vietnamese National Military Cemetery that also contained a very ornate Buddhist Temple on the grounds. It was often the scene of Vietnamese national religious celebrations. |
