February 1968 We received our APC's [M113’s] just before or at Tet 1968. I believe each company received four.

       That can be verified by bumper markings in the photos. They were used on everything: Operation OVERTAKE; Tay Ninh Convoy; Black Horse Convoy; in the Battalion Tactical Area Of Responsibility, etc.

Later that summer I believe all the APC’s were consolidated at one 720th company but I can't remember which one.

        A sidelight, how many tracked vehicle mechanics were assigned to the 720th to maintain the APC’s ? Answer - NONE !
